Muxicall.com because even music can be fun and easy online

gstv_muxicall_logoThis is quite an interesting web service, although it is clearly never going to take the Internet by storm. Broadly speaking, Muxicall is an experiment which places all the emphasis on collective improvisation and composition on the web.

The approach is based on the theory that each color of the visible light spectrum is associated with a note. The site, then, features a pad where you can click on the color of your choice and compose music that way.

Moreover, and as it was mentioned above, the main appeal of the website is that you can compose on the spot with your friends. When I tried it out with my daughter we sounded like to many instruments fighting each other but it was a fun little break from the internet as we know it.

Like I said in the first paragraph, this site is hardly going to captivate a massive audience, yet the many music nuts on the web will have a terrific time. And even if you don’t have a marked musical bend, the site is worth checking at least once, out of novelty.
