What is this site used for?
Basically we have a full health site backed by a company that is part of the health industry. This site gives you better information and choices when it comes to your health and the steps you should take for better care of your health. With coverage in health & disease control all the way to helping you access your health records, this site has a good lock on the health niche.
How does this site look and feel?
The site boasts a good collection of content with a pretty simple navigation structure. Based at the top you have some general categories that drop down to more specific categories for your navigation needs and on the sidebar you will find the same categories with easier click (it helps for those who have issues with javascript). With a color pallet set to light tones from a tan to a light blue this should go pretty easy on your eyes. Now signup takes a little longer with email, screenname, birthdate, password, security question, and captcha – yes its alot. But you can still access almost all the content without signing up and something are good if you do so you make the call. Overall not a bad system and great content just wish they would cut back on the signup as i did not even bother with it so not to sure what else you have to do once you get past the first screen.

As with any medical site this is geared to those that are sick, or looking for information about the topic in health they are looking for. You will find many of these sites online but this one does have a better selection and could benefit anyones bookmark not just the health minded.
